Applicants must fulfill any one of the following qualifications:
Option 1
- Second Class Master’s Degree or equivalent qualification recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in:
- Business Administration
- Public Administration
- Social Sciences
- Preferably with five (05) years relevant experience.
OR
Option 2
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university.
- Preferably five (05) years experience in:
- Business Administration
- Public Administration
- Asset Management
- Law
Mandatory Experience
Out of the required five years’ experience, candidates must possess:
- At least three (03) years experience related to:
- Administration
- Functioning of a body corporate
- Public body administration
Applicants must satisfy all of the following conditions:
- Must be a citizen of Pakistan.
- Must not have been declared a loan defaulter by any court of law.
- Must not have been declared an undischarged insolvent.
- Must not have been convicted by any court of law for an offence involving moral turpitude.
- Age must not be less than 40 years and not more than 60 years on the closing date of applications.
- Must possess:
- Unimpeachable reputation
- Financial integrity
- Judicious devotion
- Moral propriety
Terms and Conditions
- Appointment will be made on a contract basis.
- The selected Secretary will receive:
- Pay
- Allowances
- Privileges
- Other service benefits admissible to BPS-19 Government Servants appointed on contract.
- A special ETPB allowance up to one and a half times the basic pay may also be admissible subject to the Terms of Reference (TORs) and criteria approved by the ETP Board.
- Appointment shall be made on the recommendation of the Performance Evaluation and Selection Committee.
- Initial tenure will be three (03) years.
- The contract may be extended for two (02) additional years based on performance evaluation and recommendations of the Selection Committee.
- The Secretary shall cease to hold office:
- On completion of the contract period unless extended; or
- On attaining the age of 65 years, whichever occurs earlier.
