Job Responsibilities
Selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing, implementing, and reviewing Collection & Recovery Policies and SOPs
- Ensuring departmental operations comply with SBP guidelines and Code of Conduct
- Managing divisional budget including:
- Recovery costs
- Litigation expenses
- Third-party agency commissions
- Monitoring long-term portfolio health indicators including:
- NPL ratios
- Provisioning
- Roll-rate trends
- Supervising recovery methods including:
- Litigation
- Out-of-court settlements
- Auctioning seized assets
- Categorizing portfolios into:
- Setting annual and quarterly KPIs for Collections Unit Heads
- Conducting performance evaluations based on recovery targets and rollback rates
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity of Performance & Delinquency MIS
- Using predictive analytics to identify inflow trends before defaults occur
- Determining staffing requirements for field and tele-collection teams
- Coordinating with:
- Credit Initiation
- FRMU (Fraud Risk)
- Card Operations
- Legal Department
- Monitoring fraud reporting mechanisms
- Escalating first-payment defaults and bust-out fraud cases
- Handling complex customer complaints and grievances
- Reporting fraud accounts to Fraud Unit for formal investigations
