Vacant Positions and Detailed Eligibility Criteria
1. Emergency Officer (Medical)
- Project Pay Scale: PPS-07
- Number of Posts: 10
- Requisite Qualification: MBBS degree having a valid registration from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) or Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC).
- Age Limit: 24–32 Years.
Selection Procedure
Candidates must strictly follow the structured recruitment process managed by the Central Testing Service (CTS):
- Application Process: Applicants must apply online on the Central Testing Service (CTS) website (
www.ctspak.com) or via the link available on the ESD website (www.rescue.gov.pk). Online applications must be submitted latest by 08-07-2026. - Form Submission: After completing the online registration, candidates must print and send the physical APPLICATION FORMS by post to the Central Testing Service.
- Completeness: Only completely filled applications that fulfill the complete criteria shall be accepted.
- Official Communications: Any and all recruitment communication shall be made exclusively through the official CTS and ESD websites.
- Testing Locations: Written tests, psychological tests, and physical tests shall be held at designated places.
- Results Display: The list of qualifying candidates shall be displayed on both the CTS and ESD websites after the completion of each process.
- Interview Venue: The final interview shall be conducted at the Emergency Services Headquarters located at Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore.

Terms and Conditions
- Disqualifying Medical Conditions: Any person with vision less than 6/6 in each eye (without glasses), color blindness, obesity with a BMI of 30 or above, or who tests positive for Hepatitis B & C, HIV, and RPR shall be shortlisted out at any stage.
- Post Variations: The department reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts depending on availability.
- Age/Qualification Relaxation: No relaxation in age or qualification will be granted for either Army or Civil quotas.
- Physical Preferences: Preference will be given to candidates with a height of more than 5.6″ (5 feet 6 inches). The minimum chest size for candidates must be 33″.
- Residency Preference: Local residents, as verified per their CNIC, will be given preference during selection.
- Enhanced Criteria: In case a large number of applications are received, only applications meeting the preferred or enhanced criteria shall be considered.
- Quotas: A 15% quota for females and a 5% quota for minorities shall be strictly reserved. Shemales can also apply.
- Nature of Posts: These posts are non-transferable and confer absolutely no right for regularization.
- Eligibility Justification: Candidates have to justify their eligibility as per the advertised criteria. All documents are accepted provisionally.
