A 28-year-old Port Hope man is dealing with prices after allegedly impersonating a primary responder throughout a medical emergency.
In mid-Could 2026, the Cobourg Police Service opened an investigation after studying {that a} man, presenting as a primary responder, allegedly entered a personal residence with out the house owner’s permission and supplied medical consideration to an individual in medical misery.
The person left the house as soon as paramedics arrived on scene, based on a police information launch.

It’s believed the person turned conscious of the emergency by monitoring first responder radio communications.
On Could 27, police recognized the person after conducting a search warrant at a house in Port Hope.
Because of this, a 28-year-old man was arrested with out incident and charged with unlawfully coming into a dwelling home and personating a peace officer.
The accused was launched with situations and a future courtroom date.
