Communication Specialist (Environment and Climate) – MP-III

Number of Posts: 01

Pay Package:
As determined by the Finance Department from time to time under the revised Management Position Scales (MP-I, MP-II, and MP-III) notified by the Finance Department, Government of Sindh.

Maximum Age: 62 Years

Domicile Required: Sindh Province

Required Qualification & Experience:

Option 1:

• Ph.D. in Environmental Science.
• Minimum 04 years of professional experience in the relevant field.

OR

Option 2:

• Master’s Degree in Environmental Science.
• Minimum 08 years of experience dealing with environmental and climate change issues.

Additional Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience of working on United Nations Environmental and Climate Change Conventions.
• Excellent research, documentation, and report-writing skills.
• Experience in preparing reports on UN conventions will be considered an added advantage.

Terms and Conditions

1. Recruitment will be made under the Sindh Management Positions Policy, 2022, issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department (SGA&CD), Government of Sindh.
2. The recruitment process will also follow the revised Management Position Scales (MP-I, MP-II, and MP-III) notified by the Finance Department, Government of Sindh through notification No. FD(SR-III)5-127/2017 dated 22 December 2023.
3. The selected candidate will be appointed on a contract basis for an initial period of two (02) years.
4. The contract may be extended for an additional two years on a yearly basis, subject to satisfactory performance.
