TEHRAN: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has revealed that he recently held an important meeting with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, which lasted for approximately two and a half hours.
President Pezeshkian said the meeting was held in an atmosphere of deep trust, humility, and sincerity. He noted that the Supreme Leader’s style of conversation, perspective, and highly humble and sincere approach left a strong impression on him.
He further stated that the Supreme Leader’s conduct transformed the discussion into an environment based on confidence, calmness, mutual empathy, and open dialogue.
The Iranian president emphasized that the extended discussion focused on national unity and internal cohesion, adding that external pressures are aimed at weakening Iran’s unity and stability.
President Pezeshkian warned that adversaries seek to create unrest and public dissatisfaction through pressure tactics, claiming that the goal is to push people onto the streets and weaken the governing system.
He also said that external forces, including the United States, attempt to increase economic pressure to provoke public anger and instability within the country.
