A union representing near 300 alerts staff with Canadian Pacific Kansas Metropolis Ltd. says its members are on strike.
The Worldwide Brotherhood of Electrical Employees says the job motion started on the railway on Sunday morning after the union’s 72-hour strike discover expired and either side failed to achieve a deal.
It says the employees set up, keep, check and restore railway signalling and communications techniques throughout the CPKC community from Vancouver to Montreal.
