  • Having a six (06) months Certificate in Shorthand and English Typing from an Institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE).
  • Having a speed of 120 w.p.m. in Shorthand and 35 w.p.m. in English typing on a Computer.
  • Having a Certificate in MS Office from an Institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE).

2. Data Input Operator (BPS-12)

• Age Limit: 21 – 28 Years
• Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Graduate at least in 2nd Division from a HEC recognized University with a Diploma in Computer Science / IT from any Institute recognized by SBTE / STEVTA.(OR) * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / I.T. at least in Second Division or equivalent CGPA from an HEC recognized University.

3. Age of the applicants shall be calculated (as decided in Provincial Cabinet) from the closing date of submission of application for general screening test advertisement by the Services General Administration and Coordination Department (SGA&CD). The Relaxation of Upper Age Limit as notified by Services, General Administration and Coordination Department bearing No. SOII(SGA&CD)5-64/2011 (Part-II) Karachi, dated the 02nd December, 2025 is as under:
   • For candidates who applied for the test prior promulgation of the Sindh Civil Servant (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules 2024 (Dated: 16th October 2024):
     • Graduation (1st Phase): Original closing date was 30-11-2021 (Extended up to 28-06-2022). General Age Relaxation is Fifteen (15) Years, calculated with effect from the Closing Date Submission of Application i.e., 30-11-2021.
   • For candidates who applied for the test prior promulgation of the Sindh Civil Servant (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules 2024 (Dated: 16th October 2024):
     • Graduation (2nd Phase): Last date of inviting applications was 12th May 2025. General Age Relaxation is Five (05) Years from the date of submission of application for test, calculated with effect from the Closing Date Submission of Application i.e., 12-05-2025.
4. Those applicants who are already in Government Service should get an NOC from their Department prior to the submission of the application and bring the original copy of the NOC at the time of the interview for submission before the Departmental Selection Committee.
5. The appointment shall be made as per the policy notified by the Government of Sindh on 26.04.2023 and under the provisions of the Sindh Civil Servants Act 1973 and its Rules, as amended from time to time.
6. The share of the quota reserved for the initial appointment shall be adhered to as per Law Rules/Policy of the Government of Sindh.
7. The candidates shall be called for an interview before the Departmental Selection Committee as per the schedule to be uploaded on the Job Portal.
8. Candidates must bring original documents at the time of the interview.
9. No TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in the interview.
10. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
