ISLAMABAD: Renowned Pakistani folk singer Attaullah Khan Esakhelvi has revealed that he has already arranged his grave in advance at his family graveyard in his hometown of Esakhel.
During a podcast, the legendary singer spoke about his preparations for the hereafter and said that he had reserved a place for his final resting place in the family graveyard located in Esakhel.
Attaullah Khan Esakhelvi said that after the construction of his farmhouse and a mosque, he felt that his final resting place should also be located there, which led him to prepare his grave beforehand.

Reflecting on life and death, the singer said that the passing of his mother, relatives, and close friends made him think seriously about mortality. He added that his only prayer to Allah is to be granted a peaceful death.
Clarifying his remarks, Attaullah Khan Esakhelvi said that his comments regarding a grave space for his wife were made in a light-hearted manner, while in reality, he has only prepared his own grave.
