Unhealthy Bunny turned a Grammy win into one of many evening’s strongest moments!

The Puerto Rican famous person opened his award acceptance speech with a blunt message directed at US Immigration and Customs Enforcement after taking the stage on the 2026 Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 1, to simply accept the award for Greatest Música Urbana Album for DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS.

“Earlier than I say due to God, I am gonna say ICE out. We’re not savage, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens—we’re people, and we’re People,” the 31-year-old artist made his stance clear, prompting a standing ovation from the viewers.

As the group continued to cheer, the singer mirrored on the present political local weather and rising tensions surrounding immigration enforcement.

“Additionally, I wanna say to the individuals: I do know it is powerful to not hate nowadays, and I used to be considering generally we get contaminado. I do not know the right way to say that in English,” the singer stated. (“Contaminado” interprets to “contaminated” in English.)

Unhealthy Bunny additional added, “We have now to be totally different. If we battle, we have now to do it with love. We do not hate them. We love our individuals, we love our household, and that is the way in which to do it—with love. Remember that, please. Thanks. Thanks, God, and thanks to the Grammys.”

His remarks come amid heightened nationwide debate over immigration enforcement. Since President Donald Trump returned to workplace in January 2025, the administration has expanded immigration operations throughout the nation, with ICE detention numbers reaching report ranges by early 2026.
