KARACHI: The Sindh authorities has introduced that each one instructional establishments throughout the province will stay closed on March 11 (Wednesday) in observance of Youm-e-Ali, marking the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali.
In accordance with an official notification issued by the provincial authorities, each private and non-private colleges and schools will observe the vacation on the twenty first of Ramadan, the day historically commemorated as Youm-e-Ali.
The choice was taken following suggestions from the provincial sub-committee of the steering committee on schooling, which oversees tutorial schedules and coverage selections for instructional establishments in Sindh.
Yearly, Youm-e-Ali is noticed on the twenty first of Ramadan, throughout which massive processions and non secular gatherings are held throughout the nation to pay tribute to the life and martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (RA).
In a separate growth, authorities in Islamabad have introduced a spring break for instructional establishments working below the Federal Directorate of Schooling.
In accordance with the notification, all establishments below the FDE in each city and rural areas of Islamabad will observe the break from March 24 to March 27, 2026.
The announcement states that instructional establishments will resume common actions on March 30 (Monday) after the break. On the reopening day, educating workers attendance can be necessary to make sure the preparation and announcement of in-house annual examination outcomes.
