He is currently recovering at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital after treatment of a brain hemorrhage
Senior Bollywood screenwriter Salim Khan, father of superstar Salman Khan, is currently receiving treatment at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after suffering a minor brain hemorrhage.
At an event, while speaking to the media, Amir Khan gave certain updates about the status of Salim Khan’s health. He said, “I went to meet Salim Sahab, and we are all praying that he recovers soon. Since he is in the ICU, I couldn’t meet him personally, but sat with the family”.
He further revealed, “Alvira tells me every day that his health is improving. We are all praying that he returns home soon and that his health is fully restored”.
Earlier, actress Daisy Shah had told Indian media that Salim Khan’s condition is showing clear improvement and that his overall health is satisfactory. Although she has not been able to visit the hospital in person, she said she remains in constant contact with Salman Khan and his family and stays informed about his latest condition.

According to Daisy Shah, Salim Khan is now out of danger. His treatment has been completed, and the recovery process is ongoing. Meanwhile, hospital sources stated that he was placed under immediate medical supervision due to a minor haemorrhage in the brain. After a necessary medical procedure, his condition was stabilised.
Earlier, Dr. Jaleel Parkar informed the media that Salim Khan’s condition was stable but that he was on ventilator support. The family reportedly expressed reservations about the public disclosure of medical details and requested that his health information be kept private.
Family sources emphasised that health is a personal matter and that they have decided not to share further details with the media at this time, as the family remains focused on his full recovery.
