    LAHORE:

    The Punjab Income Authority (PRA) has recorded a 35% enhance in income assortment throughout the first half of the present monetary 12 months, following the implementation of a sequence of reforms, based on an announcement issued on Saturday.

    Throughout July-December of the continued monetary 12 months, the PRA collected Rs149.5 billion in whole income, in contrast with Rs112.1 billion collected throughout the identical interval of the earlier monetary 12 months. The authority attributed the rise to reforms launched to enhance tax administration and strengthen transparency and effectivity within the assortment system.

    The assertion mentioned the expansion in income adopted the rollout of modernisation measures aimed toward streamlining processes throughout the PRA. These steps had been meant to reinforce compliance and enhance general tax assortment efficiency.

    In keeping with the PRA, larger provincial revenues contribute to monetary stability and help the well timed completion of improvement and welfare tasks throughout Punjab.
