    ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Info and Broadcasting (MOIB) on Sunday confirmed that Pakistan had performed “intelligence-based selective concentrating on” of seven terrorist camps and hideouts alongside the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in a “retributive response”.
    “Within the aftermath of current suicide bombing incidents in Pakistan, together with Imam Bargah at Islamabad, one every in Bajaur and Bannu adopted by one other incident at the moment in Bannu in the course of the holy month of Ramazan, Pakistan has conclusive proof that these acts of terrorism have been perpetrated by Khawarij on the behest of their Afghanistan-based management and handlers,” the ministry mentioned in a information assertion.
    The ministry added that the tasks for these assaults have been already claimed by Afghanistan-based Pakistani Taliban belonging to Fitna al Khwarij (FAK) and their associates, and Islamic State of Khorasan Province (ISKP).
    Within the assertion, it mentioned the focused camps and hideouts belonged to “Pakistani Taliban of FAK (Fitna Al Khawarij) and its associates and ISKP”.
    “Regardless of repeated efforts by Pakistan to induce the Afghan Taliban Regime to take verifiable measures to disclaim use of Afghan Territory by terrorist teams and international proxies to hold out Terrorist actions in Pakistan, the Afghan Taliban Regime didn’t undertake any substantive motion in opposition to them,” the ministry famous.
    It maintained that Pakistan has at all times strived to take care of peace and stability within the area, however on the similar time, the protection and safety of its residents is the highest precedence.
    “On this backdrop, Pakistan, in a retributive response, has carried out intelligence-based selective concentrating on of seven Terrorist camps and hideouts belonging to Pakistani Taliban of FAK and its associates and ISKP on the border area of Pakistan-Afghan border with precision and accuracy.”
    The ministry mentioned, “Pakistan expects and reiterates the Interim Afghan Authorities to fulfil its obligations and deny use of its soil by Khwarij and terrorists in opposition to Pakistan as the protection and safety of individuals of Pakistan comes at first.”
    “Pakistan additionally expects the worldwide neighborhood to play a constructive and constructive position by urging the Taliban regime to face by its commitments as a part of Doha Settlement to disclaim use of its soil in opposition to different international locations; an act important for regional and international peace and safety,” it added. -APP
