In the Super 8 stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first against England in the match being played at Pallekele.

The match between Pakistan and England is taking place in Pallekele, where Pakistan decided to bat after winning the toss.

At the toss, Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha said the pitch looks very good for batting and the team will try to score as many runs as possible. He added that Shaheen Afridi has been included in the playing XI in place of Faheem Ashraf, and the team will aim to set a strong target and defend it successfully.

On the other hand, England captain Harry Brook said that they would also have chosen to bat if they had won the toss. He mentioned that a win in today’s match would confirm their place in the semi-finals.
