The thirty fifth Nationwide Video games have been formally launched with a grand and vibrant opening ceremony on the Nationwide Stadium Karachi, marking the return of Pakistan’s premier multi-sport occasion to the town after almost 20 years.
The historic event drew hundreds of spectators, athletes, officers and dignitaries, making a festive environment that blended nationwide delight with sporting spirit.
The spotlight of the ceremony was the lighting of the Olympic torch by Paris Olympics gold medallist Arshad Nadeem, who was joined by legendary former Pakistan hockey captain and Olympian Islahuddin Siddiqui and different nationwide sports activities icons. The second was met with thunderous applause because the flame symbolised hope, unity and the spirit of competitors.
Chairman Pakistan Peoples Occasion Bilawal Bhutto Zardari graced the occasion because the chief visitor, alongside Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Sindh Sports activities Minister Sardar Muhammad Bux Mahar, provincial ministers, and senior officers from the Pakistan Olympic Affiliation and numerous sports activities federations.

The opening ceremony was a mix of sport and tradition. 1000’s of scholars from private and non-private establishments stuffed the stadium, whereas a devoted enclosure ensured accessibility for individuals with disabilities, reflecting the inclusive spirit of the Video games.
