Jack Osbourne has welcomed a baby daughter, naming her Ozzy Matilda Osbourne in honor of his late father, Ozzy Osbourne.
The Osbourne family shared a black-and-white video announcing the arrival, showing the newborn sleeping in a hospital bassinet. A small card near the baby read, “Hello, World,” and revealed that she was born on March 5.
Baby Ozzy Matilda arrived at 8:49 am, weighing 7 pounds, 12 ounces and measuring 19 inches long. A plush bat toy was placed nearby, a nod to Ozzy Osbourne’s famous 1982 onstage incident where he bit the head off a live bat.
The newborn joins Jack’s four older children: daughters Pearl Clementine, 13, Andy Rose, 10, Minnie Theodora with ex-wife Lisa Stelly, and Maple Artemis, 3, with his current wife, Aree Gearhart.
Jack had announced Aree’s pregnancy in December during an interview with The Sun, confirming that they shared the news with Ozzy before his passing in July at age 76.
He described the pregnancy as both a healthy distraction and a source of hope, helping him cope with grief. Jack also shared that he and Aree were “super excited” for the arrival, calling it something they had hoped for and described as “miraculously” happening.
