    Govt invitations parliamentarians to in-camera briefing on regional state of affairs – Pakistan

    The federal government has invited parliamentarians to an in-camera briefing on the regional state of affairs scheduled for Wednesday, based on Regulation Minister Azan Nazeer Tarar.

    Talking within the Nationwide Meeting on Tuesday, the minister stated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had invited parliamentary leaders and celebration heads to “sit down and develop a plan of action so we will transfer ahead”.

    “There are sensitivities we now have to bear in mind and issues that you just can not talk about overtly, contemplating the strain within the area and our relationships with brotherly Muslim international locations,” the minister stated.

    He stated that whereas Pakistan shared pleasant relations with Iran, “we even have long-standing relations with different international locations”.

    “Specifically, Saudi Arabia, with whom we’re in a protection settlement,” the minister stated.

    “I’m requesting each side of the aisle that it is a delicate state of affairs and we should sit collectively for Pakistan and for the safety of the broader area,” he stated.

    He additional stated that Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah was giving “person-to-person invites”. He additional stated that the briefing can be in-camera and can be scheduled for 11:30am.

    Earlier within the day, Deputy Prime Minister and International Minister Ishaq Dar had additionally spoken concerning the in-camera briefing whereas addressing the Senate.
