KARACHI: Members on the annual Worldwide Interfaith Masooma-e-Sindh Convention, held on the Sindh Scouts Membership Karachi and collectively organized by the Zaireen Khidmat Committee Agham Kot, Sindh, and the Karachi Editors Membership, strongly condemned the continued delay techniques allegedly employed by the Sindh Auqaf Division within the building of the sacred shrine of Masooma-e-Sindh.
Addressing the gathering, Zawar Abdul Sattar Dars of the Zaireen Khidmat Committee introduced the launch of a phased protest motion starting within the final week of January 2026, citing extended suspension and deliberate hindrances affecting the development work.
In line with the introduced plan, the protest motion will start with a press convention on the Karachi Press Membership, adopted by a one-day symbolic starvation strike outdoors the Press Membership. After a quick interval, a steady protest starvation strike shall be staged, with participation anticipated from mourning organizations and Matami Anjumans from numerous elements of Sindh.
The organizers acknowledged that the protest motion would proceed till all associated points are resolved and building work on the shrine is totally restored.
