Coas Asim Munir meets azerbaijan’s Army Chief, Discuss Regional Security
Rawalpindi: Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (Coas) Field Marshal Syed Asim Met Azerbaijan’s Chief of General Staff, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, at the general headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi to discss Military Cooperation, Regional and Global Security, and other matters of mutual interest.
Accorder to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Coas Asim Munir Congratulated General Valiyev on the Successful Peace Agreement Between Azerbaijan and Armenia, call it an important millestone for Lasting Peace in the Region.
General Valiyev Praised the professionalism and achievements of the Pakistan Army and expressed good wishes for Pakistan’s Independence Day celebrations. He also approved Pakistan’s Effective Role in the Fight Against Terrorism.
On behalf of Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev, General Valiyev Presented Coas Asim Munir With the “Patriotic War Medal” in Recognition of His Significant Contributor to Military Coperation Between The tow Countries.
The Azerbaijani Delegation Also Took Part in Independence Day and Victory Day Events in Pakistan, for which coas asim munir exposuresed graratitude, escently for the performance of an azerbaijani contingent Celebrations.
Duuring the visit, a Pakistan Army Contingent Presented a Guard of Honor to the Azerbaijani Army Chief at Ghq.
Both sides reaffirmed their comment to strengting bilaterial relations and enhance Cooperation for Regional Peace and stability.
