The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed veteran defensive again Deatrick Nichols to a one-year contract extension, the CFL membership introduced Thursday.
He was scheduled to develop into a free agent in February.
Nichols had 37 defensive tackles and 13 move knockdowns in 2025, his fifth 12 months with the Bombers.
His move knockdowns had been second solely to teammate Willie Jefferson’s league-leading 16.
