There are two sides to Resident Evil Requiem. First, you have Grace, whose sections are much slower, and you have to play a bit more methodically. Then you have Leon, who runs in guns blazing because he has dealt with this virus before.
Resident Evil Requiem: Hardest Bosses, Ranked
These mutant monstrosities will put you through your paces.
Both characters get access to different weapons, with the bulk of them going to Leon. Of course, with so many weapons in the game, you have to wonder which ones are the best for taking out the hordes of zombies.
So, what weapons should you be using as Grace, and which ones should you be using as Leon in Resident Evil Requiem?

S&S M232
Grace’s Gun
Grace gets access to a total of three different firearms in Resident Evil Requiem, and we will get to the best one later. When playing as Grace, the first gun you will find is the B934, but it isn’t the only weapon in the care facility.
If you go to the bar area, you can find Grace’s original pistol โ the S&S M232 โ sitting in the bar. There is no denying that you should be using this gun while playing as Grace.
Every stat of the S&S M232 is better than the B934, giving you much better stopping power, precision, ammo capacity, and rate of fire.

Kotetsu
The Best Knife
As part of playing as Grace, you will find numerous makeshift knives scattered about. These knives aren’t very good and will ultimately break when used too much. They are better as scrap.
After completing the game for the first time, you get access to an item from the special content shop called Kotetsu. This is a new knife for Grace that is a bit more powerful than the others and unbreakable.
When combined with the Stakeout Takeout charm, this knife gets a greater power boost, making it better than Grace’s firearms, and allowing you to take out zombies with ease.

Silencer 9
A Better Pistol
Similar to Grace, Leon only has access to a few handguns, with one of them being the Silencer 9. Of the pistols he has access to, this is by far the better of them.
Leon begins his journey with a weapon called the Alligator Snapper, which is a decent weapon, but like Grace’s starting pistol, it is easily outdone by the other weapon Leon can get.
When fully upgraded, the Silencer 9 offers much more stopping power, rate of fire, and precision, making it the better choice overall for your sidearm.
Resident Evil Requiem: 10 Tips and Tricks When Playing as Leon
When playing Resident Evil Requiem, you play between Grace and Leon. Leon is meant to be action-packed, here are ways to make it extra fun.
5
Classic 70
A Classic for a Reason
The Classic 70 is a fairly powerful bolt-action rifle. Strike that, it is so powerful that it rivals Requiem if you have it fully upgraded and have found all the Raccoon statues.
Of the two rifles Leon can get, this is by far the more powerful of the two, and it is well worth keeping in a playthrough. The main downside to this weapon is that its slow fire rate and reload speed can get you stuck in a few hairy situations.
As long as you are quick on your feet, this gun can easily outdo some other weapons on the list.

Marksman 1A
Faster Fire Rate
When it comes to sniper rifles, I prefer the Marksman 1A. While the Classic 70, as mentioned above, has incredible stopping power, the Marksman 1A beats it in rate of fire and reload speed.
This gives you a bit more maneuverability while trying to dodge zombies, and will leave you less open overall while using the weapon. It is tough to compare the two of them because they are both great weapons for Leon.
Overall, it depends on which aspects of a sniper rifle you like more. You should prioritize firepower with this weapon, and also equip the Connoisseur Charm.
3
Clatter Carbine
The Best Assault Rifle
Leon gets access to three different assault-style weapons that are fully automatic. Two of these weapons are SMGs, and one is an assault rifle.
I think it is obvious which of these weapons comes out on top. The Clatter Carbine is the only one of these weapons you need to purchase from the special content shop, but it is also much more powerful than the standard assault weapons.
Upgrading this weapon’s firepower and adding the STARS Emblem Charm will make it even more powerful. Sure, you will sway more, but it will mow down zombies quickly.

Nobody said it was easy to juggle an inventory alongside bloodthirsty zombies.
2
W870 Police
Glory Days
Leon has three different shotguns to choose from, but the one that comes out on top is the W870 Police. This is thanks to its combination of fire rate, stopping power, and reload speed.
When upgraded, it has a comparable reload speed and rate of fire to the other shotguns, but you can increase the firepower to far above what the other shotguns can do.
Adding the Cute Bear Charm to this shotgun makes it even more deadly, and it has even been used countless times to speed run boss fights.
1
Requiem
The Namesake
Is it a surprise that Requiem comes out on top in Resident Evil Requiem? I didn’t think so. Sure, it doesn’t have the fastest fire rate, and the reload speed can be a bit slow as well, but these can be upgraded to a decent degree.
It is the firepower that wins this weapon the top spot, and Requiem has plenty of it. You can upgrade the firepower so much that the bar gets maxed out, making it the most powerful when in the game.
When you combine that with the other upgrades, you can easily take out any zombie with one or two shots. Most bosses fall victim to this weapon quickly as well. Once you unlock infinite ammo, it’s game over for everyone who isn’t a protagonist.
