Pakistani Grammy winner Arooj Aftab was recently featured on Help (2), War Child Records’ latest charity music album. Alongside major stars like Olivia Rodrigo and the Arctic Monkeys, Arooj collaborated with Beck to release a track aimed at raising awareness for children suffering in war zones, including Sudan, Gaza, and Yemen.
The album was released on March 7, 2026, on Spotify, iTunes, Deezer, Amazon Music, and YouTube and was inspired by War Child’s first charity album, Help, released in 1995, which featured some of the biggest British musicians of the time, including Paul McCartney and Radiohead. At the time, all proceeds of Help went to War Child’s charity efforts in Bosnia.
The new album has 23 tracks, including a bonus track by Oasis of their performance of “Acquiesce” and “Opening Night”, the Arctic Monkeys’ first hit after a four-year hiatus following their 2022 album.
While you listen to your favorite artists, the UK-based charity ensures that the proceeds help deliver aid, education, mental health support, and protection to children affected by armed conflict around the world.
Arooj took to her Instagram to share that her single “Lilac Wine” with Beck, is now part of the Help (2) album. She also shared that all proceeds will support War Child UK and the important work the organization does for children affected by conflict.
War Child Records also shared the single “The Book of Love” by Olivia Rodrigo, with a music video featuring children from Gaza, Sudan, Ukraine, and Yemen.
War Child Records also highlights other artists included on the charity album, including Foals, Sampha, Big Thief, Young Fathers, and more.
