    The Abu Dhabi Registration and Licensing Authority (ADRA) has issued 5,930 new financial licences to Emirati girls entrepreneurs between July 2024 and June 2025, bringing the whole variety of licences held by girls to 21,115 by the top of June 2025.

    ADRA, which operates beneath the Abu Dhabi Division of Financial Growth (ADDED), stated the figures exhibit the affect of initiatives designed to empower UAE girls and improve their position in financial development and diversification.

Between July 2024 and June 2025, new licences issued to Emirati girls accounted for 18 per cent of all new financial licences within the emirate. ADRA stays dedicated to offering a clear, efficient, and supportive licensing system that drives enterprise development whereas sustaining full regulatory compliance,” he added.

    The info reveals that 2,768 licences (46.6 per cent of recent licences issued to Emirati girls) have been issued beneath the Mobdea licence scheme.

    The Mobdea licence permits girls to launch companies throughout greater than 50 financial actions with out requiring a bodily workplace.

    An additional 1,830 licences (30 per cent) have been issued beneath the Tajer Abu Dhabi (Abu Dhabi Dealer) scheme, adopted by 788 commonplace financial licences and 246 freelance licences.
