Veteran journalist and Geo Information Sports activities Editor Syed Muhammad Sufi, a number one determine in Urdu journalism and one of the revered names in sports activities reporting, handed away on Sunday after a chronic sickness. He was 80.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to Syed Muhammad Sufi, saying his passing marked the top of a golden period in sports activities journalism.
He praised Sufi’s position in selling sports activities, particularly cricket, and famous that his journalistic contributions can be remembered with respect.
Sufi had labored with a number of newspapers and magazines, significantly with Geo Information and Day by day Jang, with which he had been related for over three many years.

Over time, he performed interviews with a few of Pakistan’s best cricketers, together with Imran Khan, Wasim Akram, Ramiz Raja, Waqar Younis, Moin Khan, Rashid Latif, and Inzamam-ul-Haq.
