Japanese teenager Shin Ohashi smashed the boys’s 200m breaststroke world report on the Asian Video games on Thursday, setting a brand new mark of 2min 04.83sec.
The 17-year-old reduce greater than half a second off the earlier mark of two:05.48 held by China’s Qin Haiyang.
Qin’s report had stood since July 2023.
Ohashi had already gained the 100m breaststroke gold this week in Tokyo after a lifeless warmth with China’s Dong Zhihao.
