One man has been arrested and police are trying to find a second in reference to the theft of two Metropolis of Hamilton automobiles two months in the past.
The incident unfolded July 22 at roughly 12:24 a.m., when police say two people entered a metropolis facility in central Hamilton and stole a number of units of keys belonging to metropolis fleet automobiles. The 2 males then left the realm in a stolen metropolis automobile.
Police in one other jurisdiction stopped one of many stolen automobiles for stunt driving and seized it. The automobile had not been reported stolen when it was stopped.

As a part of an ongoing investigation, detectives with Hamilton police’s Break, Enter, Auto Theft and Theft Unit related the automobile to the break-in.
The second stolen metropolis automobile was later recovered by police as a part of an unrelated investigation.
Each automobiles have since been returned.
By their investigation, two suspects have been recognized and warrants have been issued.
Police say a 55-year-old suspect was lately arrested in Toronto whereas making an attempt to board a flight in another country.
The second suspect, a 35-year-old man, stays wished and is believed to don’t have any fastened handle. He’s identified to frequent the Hamilton, Niagara and Burlington areas.
