Sri Lanka’s white-ball captain Kusal Mendis won’t play within the away T20 collection in opposition to England due to damage, the cricket board mentioned Friday.
The 31-year-old can be changed as skipper by deputy Charith Asalanka for the three-match collection, which can be adopted by three ODIs.
Sri Lanka didn’t say whether or not wicketkeeper-batsman Mendis could be accessible for the ODIs.
