Saskatchewan sees one other overpass strike close to Borden Bridge

Saskatoon alone has seen 5 of these incidents, with the final strike occurring in July, when a semi hauling a grain bin hit the 51st Avenue overpass on Idylwyld Drive.

The costliest was the primary one on March 5, when a semi hauling an excavator slammed into the Freeway 16 overpass above Freeway 11, inflicting greater than $280,000 in damages.
