1. Legal Advisor (Fixed Lump Sum) (01 Post)

• Age Limit: Up to 55 years
• Eligibility Criteria:
  • LL.M. degree with 3 years of professional experience as an Advocate. OR
  • LL.B. degree with 5 years of professional experience as an Advocate.
  • Advocates of the Supreme Court with reported judgments in relevant fields will be preferred.
  • Fixed retainership fee: Rs. 200,000/- per month.
  • Note: Hiring will initially be for a period of 3 years, extendable to 5 years on performance evaluation basis.

2. Assistant Registrar (BS-17 / Regular) (01 Post)

• Age Limit: 21 to 35 years
• Eligibility Criteria: Master’s degree or ACMA or ACCA or BS 2nd Division or equivalent qualification from a recognized university/institute, recognized by Higher Education Commission.

How to Apply for Baba Guru Nanak University Jobs

1. Closing date for submission of online applications is August 26, 2026 (Wednesday).
2. Applicants are required to apply online through the university job portal at bgnu.edu.pk/job-portal and pay a processing fee worth of:
   • Rs. 3000/- for BS-19 & BS-20 posts
   • Rs. 1500/- for BS-17 & BS-18 posts
   • Rs. 1000/- for BS-16 posts
   • Rs. 500/- for BS-01 to BS-04 posts(Paid through online generated challan via designated bank portal/app).
3. Hard Copy Submission: After completing the online application, applicants must take a printout of the online application form and send THE HARD COPY ALONG WITH receipt of processing fee, attested copies of CNIC, domicile, educational documents (degrees/transcripts), experience certificates on or before August 28, 2026 (Friday) to the Office of Registrar, Baba Guru Nanak University, Faculty Hostels Building, Danish School, Opposite District Courts, Nankana Sahib.
4. Candidates applying for the post of Associate Professor are required to submit 5 soft copies (on USB/CD) of their research publications along with the application form and hard copies of research papers.
5. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications along with separate processing fees.
6. Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date (even if dispatched through courier prior) will not be entertained.
7. For non-teaching posts, only candidates with Punjab Domicile are eligible to apply.

Terms and Conditions / General Instructions

• Corresponding candidates must possess degrees/certificates issued by HEC/recognized boards/institutions.
• Degrees acquired from foreign institutions/universities must possess equivalency certificates issued by HEC.
• Candidates already serving in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Bodies must submit their applications through proper channel along with No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the competent authority.
• In case a candidate who has applied through NOC from parent department/institution/university is selected in another department/institution, the previous service experience shall not be considered towards senior scale/promotion unless NOC explicitly covers such provisions.
• Minimum age requirement for all candidates is 18 years unless specified otherwise.
• Experience will be counted after acquiring the minimum required basic qualification for the respective post.
• Research papers published in Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized journals (Y/X category for arts/humanities and W/X/Y for science) will only be accepted.
• Review articles, case studies, conference proceedings, short communications, etc., shall not be treated as professional research publications.
• Age relaxation in upper age limit will be granted to eligible candidates as per Government of Punjab rules.
• The quota for female candidates, minority candidates, and disabled persons will be observed as per Punjab Government rules.
• Applicants with disability must attach disability certificate issued by the Provincial Council for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons on or before the closing date.
• If any information provided by the candidate in the application form is found to be incorrect or fake at any stage, the candidature will be rejected and legal action will be initiated.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/test. No TA/DA will be admissible.
