KARACHI: Whereas the federal authorities had introduced a three-day Eid vacation — from Could 26 to twenty-eight (Tuesday to Thursday) — the Sindh authorities has formally introduced a four-day vacation, together with Friday, the third day of Eidul Azha, in its vacation schedule.
Sindh Chief Secretary Asif Hyder Shah issued a notification on this regard, stating that the Eidul Azha holidays could be noticed from Could 26 to Could 29 within the province.
“The federal government of Sindh hereby declares twenty sixth, twenty seventh, twenty eighth and twenty ninth Could, 2026 as public holidays on the event of Eidul Azha all through the province of Sindh, for all authorities places of work, autonomous our bodies, semi-autonomous our bodies, companies, and native councils, besides important providers and departments/places of work engaged in preparation of finances for monetary 12 months 2026-27,” reads. the notification.
