Toronto police search suspect in potential hate-motivated assault with Orbeez-type gun


The Toronto Police Service is asking for the general public’s assist figuring out a car linked to a suspected hate-motivated assault within the metropolis’s north finish.

Police say the incident occurred April 30 within the Bathurst Road and Lawrence Avenue West space, the place a suspect in a car allegedly fired an Orbeez-style duplicate gun at victims who had been visibly identifiable members of the Jewish group.

Investigators say the victims suffered minor accidents and the suspect fled the scene in a blue SUV.

The case is being handled as a suspected hate-motivated offence and is being led by the power’s Hate Crime Unit.


Police have launched video of the car and are asking anybody with info to return ahead.
