Winnipeg police have launched extra info on the identities of two individuals who died following a deadly taking pictures within the metropolis’s North Finish final week.

Police say the teenage sufferer is a 16-year-old boy from Sagkeeng, Man. They go on to establish the grownup sufferer as 32-year-old Jason Robert Baker, a member of Hole Water First Nation, who lives in Winnipeg.

Final Thursday, officers responded to a report of gunfire at about 5:30 p.m. within the 300 block of Boyd Avenue.

They discovered two injured people on the scene and took them to hospital each in vital situation.

Each the 16-year-old and Baker later died from their accidents.


No arrests have been made as of Tuesday, however police mentioned the murder unit continues to research.
