Hearth crews in Airdrie say an early morning blaze at a house locally has resulted in a complete lack of the dwelling.
Firefighters have been referred to as to a carriage-style house above a storage on Channelside Drive SW, within the Canals neighbourhood, at round 8:30 a.m. on Monday.
“The occupant was in a position to evacuate themselves and their pets … though there may be some injury to the adjoining buildings, (firefighters) have been in a position to cease the unfold,” defined Airdrie deputy hearth Chief, Simon Bradley.
“Fortunately, the principle home, [the] main home on this property, didn’t undergo any injury. A number of the hardie board did defend that constructing from a lot injury.”
