Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Pakistan’s security forces have conducted multiple intelligence-driven operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, successfully neutralizing 13 militants, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.
According to ISPR, the operations carried out on March 6 and 7 involved five separate encounters targeting terrorist elements in the region.
In Bajaur, an intelligence-based operation led to a firefight that eliminated five militants.
In Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan, three terrorists were neutralized during coordinated security operations.
In Khyber and South Waziristan, security forces successfully neutralized five additional militants.
Recovered from the slain militants were arms and ammunition, and they were reportedly involved in multiple terrorist activities across the region.
The ISPR emphasized that Pakistan’s security forces remain fully vigilant along the Afghan border, responding decisively to emerging threats. Operations will continue until all foreign-sponsored terrorism is eradicated.
This mission aligns with the National Action Plan’s “Azm-e-Istiqamat” vision, under which operations against foreign-backed terrorist elements are being executed with unwavering commitment and full operational capacity.
