Over 30% beneficiaries are girls, who obtain a 60% capital subsidy on the down cost, 10% greater than males.
حکومتِ پنجاب نے صاف ٹرانسپورٹ اور روزگار کے فروغ کے لیے پاکستان کی پہلی سرکاری سرپرستی میں ای ٹیکسی اسکیم متعارف کرا دی ہے، جس کے تحت 1100 الیکٹرک گاڑیاں 4 ارب روپے کی سبسڈی کے ساتھ فراہم کی جائیں گی۔
ہر گاڑی ایک چارج پر تقریباً 300 کلومیٹر سفر کر سکتی ہے، جبکہ حکومت 30 فیصد ڈاؤن پیمنٹ میں سے 15 فیصد اور تمام مارک اپ خود ادا کرے گی۔
اس اسکیم میں خواتین کو خصوصی ترجیح دی گئی ہے، جہاں 30 فیصد سے زائد مستحقین خواتین ہیں اور انہیں ڈاؤن پیمنٹ پر 60 فیصد کیپٹل سبسڈی دی جا رہی ہے۔
یہ اقدام نہ صرف شہری آلودگی میں کمی لائے گا بلکہ ایندھن کے اخراجات کم کر کے درآمدی تیل پر انحصار بھی گھٹائے گا۔
ماہرین کے مطابق یہ منصوبہ گرین موبیلٹی، مالی معاونت اور روزگار کے نئے مواقع کو یکجا کر کے دیگر صوبوں کے لیے بھی مثال بن سکتا ہے۔
