Where to Find All Detonator Parts in Resident Evil Requiem

Getting to Raccoon City in Resident Evil Requiem is no easy feat, especially since, once you’re there, it gets absolutely no easier. With a decent-size that’s dense with all kinds of things you can miss, it can be incredibly easy to get lost even while trying to work on the main mission.

The mission itself is blowing up a gate that’s blocking you from getting to the center of the city, and thankfully, the Central Camp you stumble into will have a document detailing where you can find the parts for a detonator (which is also one of the Files you need to collect and read).

Trying to catch the little rascal in Resident Evil Requiem? He’s a sneaky and mischeivious one — but thankfully, we know where he’s hiding.

It sounds easy, until you actually have to do it. In true Resident Evil fashion, you cannot simply go from Point A to Point B; there are at least three other things you have to do before you can get the part to get to Point B.

Thankfully, it’s not too difficult if you know what to do.

This guide will contain some spoilers for the game and its happenings.

    Where to Find the Distributor

Your First Part Through the Logistics Warehouse

Getting the Distributor is technically the easy part, since the game leads you there naturally while going through the Logistics Warehouse. The entrance to this is located at the Central Camp — after you boot up the generator, you’re able to open up a garage door that you can crawl under.

From there, the game will have you fight through hoards of zombies before you see a crate that you’re able to shoot down. Shoot it down, climb it, and follow the path — the game will lead you right towards the Distributor that way.

Inventory space is absolutely crucial in Resident Evil games, especially in Requiem. Thankfully, we can help you expand that space with Hip Pouches.

From there, you’re able to survey the area a little more and notice where you can get the other parts, as well as where you can find some fuel to get the generators powered up. The Gas Station itself is relatively simple (and by simple I mean cut-and-dry, of course there will be enemies… and maybe some fun time with a chainsaw), so I recommend first-time players heading there first.

Not to mention, you need that fuel to get basically anywhere else in the game, so you might as well go get that now.

    Where to Find the Relay

    Make Sure to Stock Up

After refueling (and hopefully having a really cool power trip) at the gas station, return to the Logistics Warehouse and go fuel up the generator. You’ll be able to get access to a zipline, which will take you to Willis Tower.

Willis Tower itself is full of zombies, but with an added difficulty: the floor is literally glass. You can’t just go crazy with grenades, and you need to be careful of where exactly you shoot. Thankfully, it’s not too difficult if you make sure you go to high ground as soon as possible.

    Resident Evil Requiem All Files

Resident Evil Requiem: All Files Locations

To obtain the Case Closed trophy in Resident Evil Requiem, you need to read all files in the main story … and there are a lot of files.

But after dealing with all those zombies, you’re dropped off right at where you can pick up the Relay, which you can immediately combine with your Distributor.

However, getting out and back to Central Camp is not going to be easy, since you will have many, many more zombies to get through as you descend. Make sure you’re stocked up on ammo and keep your eyes peeled for anything and everything you can find.

Where to Find the Broken Signal Receiver

As Well as How to Fix it

After basically fighting for your life, head back into Cedarbrook Apartments, but go through the main doors — they’re right in front of the BSAA squad you had gotten the BSAA Crate Key from. Take note of the big guns they brought in — your growing anxieties about them are, unfortunately, going to be true (so make sure your body armor is repaired and upgraded).

But, you can’t get there until you have the Rusty Crank (a Resident Evil staple at this point). You’ll have to descend back through the apartments, get the crank at the bottom floor, and then come all the way back upstairs in order to even get started on getting the Signal Receiver.

You’ll have to get through the zombies with big guns, little guns, and all the zombies in-between, but the light at the end of the tunnel is this Signal Receiver — I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it’s broken when you find it. Even if you attach it to your parts, you just have a Broken Detonator.

Discovering all these crates in Raccoon City will grant you the Crate Expectations trophy, and we know exactly where to find them all.

On the bright side, repairing it is actually the easy part. In fact, you can get this Repair Kit early on when you unlock the 2nd BSAA Crate, which is located at Central Camp itself. If not, you can just go back down to camp and get it. Of course, there are zombies on the way down, but it’s nowhere near as bad as what you just dealt with.

When you use the repair kit, you’ll have a fully functioning Detonator, which you can use to finally progress towards the center of Raccoon City — where your past awaits.
