A Hamilton Police Service officer has been charged with youngster exploitation offences following an investigation by Halton Regional Police.
In an announcement, Hamilton police mentioned Const. Dave Hamilton, a 19-year member of the service, was charged with possession and transmitting of kid sexual abuse and exploitation materials.

Police mentioned the costs had been laid by the Halton Regional Police Service.
The officer has been suspended with out pay, in line with Hamilton police.
Const. Hamilton is scheduled to seem in a Milton courtroom at a later date.
“The matter is now earlier than the courts. Out of respect for the courtroom course of, Hamilton Police Service is not going to be offering additional remark,” the service mentioned in its launch.
