Sharma was recently asked about this in a recent interview, and her answer was straight-to-the-point, though it did leave a lot of wiggle room to change in the future.
Speaking to Windows Central, Sharma mentioned that nothing was off the table when it came to revising Xbox’s strategy, but finalizing that strategy will take time and a lot of data crunching.
Regarding Xbox’s release strategy, Sharma noted, “the plan’s the plan until it’s not the plan,” which really sounds like they are going to evaluate this multi-platform release thing to see if it’s something they should continue or not.
