    A Chinese language agency is prone to make investments $800 million in Pakistan to implement the Built-in Maritime Industrial Advanced (IMIC) venture, which features a sea-to-steel initiative at Port Qasim, shipbreaking and upkeep.

    The venture will entice funding from the Chinese language firm in direction of ship recycling and ship upkeep together with revival of Pakistan Metal Mills (PSM) and an iron ore and coal jetty.

    Representatives from China’s Shandong Xinxu Group and senior Ministry of Maritime Affairs’ officers attended the assembly. Port Qasim Authority Chairman Rear Admiral (Retd) Syed Moazzam Ilyas participated through video hyperlink from Karachi.
