Ubisoft Montreal veteran David Michaud-Cromp–who most not too long ago labored on Murderer’s Creed Shadows–has confirmed that he was terminated by the corporate after a 13-year run. Whereas Michaud-Cromp did not disclose a cause for his dismissal, he spoke out in opposition to Ubisoft’s return-to-work mandate in January.
“At this time, I used to be terminated by Ubisoft, efficient instantly,” wrote Michaud-Cromp on his LinkedIn account. “This was not my resolution. I will not be discussing inside particulars or circumstances. I am taking time to regroup and can share subsequent steps when applicable.”
Final week, Michaud-Cromp disclosed that he had been suspended for 3 days with out pay. He added that Ubisoft informed him that it was “associated to public feedback I expressed relating to the corporate’s return-to-office coverage, and primarily based on an alleged breach of the obligation of loyalty.”
