TOKYO: An Australian girl has died on a visit with pals to Japan after her backpack turned caught in a ski raise leaving her suspended in midair, police stated on Monday.
The 22-year-old girl was making ready to get off the raise on Friday morning at Tsugaike Mountain Resort in Hakuba Valley, a preferred ski vacation spot within the central area of Nagano.
