PPP Senator Sherry Rehman on Monday stated that there isn’t any have to politicize the fireplace which broke out in Karachi’s Gul Plaza shopping center.
She made the remarks after MQM Senator Khalida Ateeb known as the Home’s consideration to the incident and lambasted the Sindh authorities for its negligence.
Calling the incident “heartbreaking” whereas talking on the ground of the Senate, Rehman stated that there might be no compensation for all of the lives misplaced.

She added that Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah had introduced Rs10m as compensation for the affected households.

Senator Rehman clarified that she was not making excuses and stated the incident was “an enormous lesson for all of us”.
