Firefighters in West Kelowna, B.C., say they managed to save lots of a home from flames early Sunday morning following studies of an explosion.
West Kelowna Fireplace Chief Jason Brolund mentioned in a press release that crews responded to a residence within the Smith Creek neighbourhood at round 2 a.m.

He says that arriving crews discovered a truck and trailer on fireplace, with fireplace coming near the home.
Brolund says firefighters labored arduous to maintain the fireplace out of the home, which was not affected.
He says that 4 fireplace engines and 20 firefighters responded to the fireplace, whose trigger stays below investigation, however didn’t trigger any accidents.
West Kelowna’s Smith Creek space is a semi-rural space, and crews contained two wildfires within the space in August 2025.
