A video convention between the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and the Worldwide Cricket Council (ICC) was held this afternoon to debate the participation of the Bangladesh Nationwide Cricket Group within the ICC Males’s T20 World Cup 2026.
Representing the BCB had been President Md Aminul Islam, Vice Presidents Md Shakawath Hossain and Faruque Ahmed, Director and Chairman of the Cricket Operations Committee Nazmul Abedeen and Chief Govt Officer Nizam Uddin Chowdhury.
Through the discussions, the BCB reaffirmed its place relating to the choice to not journey to India, citing safety issues. The Board additionally reiterated its request for the ICC to think about relocating Bangladesh’s matches exterior India.
