    Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik on Tuesday introduced that the federal government has determined to keep up the gasoline tariff for the following six months.

    The choice is made consistent with the route of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to supply reduction to shoppers, the minister mentioned whereas chairing a briefing.

    The Oil and Gasoline Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had raised the liquefied petroleum gasoline (LPG) value by Rs 10.68 per kg earlier this month, bringing the speed to Rs 219.67 per kg.

    Highlighting the federal government’s financial achievements, the petroleum minister mentioned the rise in round debt within the gasoline sector has stopped.

    He added that the federal government has struck a deal to switch extra LNG cargo from Qatar to the worldwide market.

    “Gasoline value will stay unchanged for all shoppers attributable to reforms,” the minister introduced.

    “On the directions of the prime minister, most reduction is being supplied to the general public through the winter season,” mentioned Malik.

    The minister famous that improved gasoline provide to home shoppers continues nationwide, with no native gasoline subject closed and energy crops taking gasoline in extra.

    Unaccounted-for gasoline (UFG) losses within the Sui Northern Gasoline Pipelines Restricted (SNGPL) have fallen from 9% to five%, whereas the Sui Southern Gasoline Firm (SSGC) losses have dropped from 17% to 10%, the briefing informed.
