    Pakistan has snapped up two financing agreements value a complete of $730 million with the Asian Growth Financial institution (ADB), in line with the Ministry of Financial Affairs, ARY Information reported.

    In response to the Spokesperson for Financial Affairs, one of many agreements signed between Pakistan and ADB entails a $330 million Second Energy Transmission Venture, which can allow the transmission of as much as 2,300 megawatts of electrical energy.

    The second pact, valued at $400 million, pertains to the transformation program for state-owned enterprises (SOEs).

    The Secretary of Financial Affairs of Pakistan acknowledged that this system will assist the implementation of the SOE Act and associated insurance policies.

    In response to the spokesperson, ADB’s Nation Director for Pakistan, Emma Fan, praised the federal government’s dedication to financial reforms. She mentioned this system would additional strengthen efforts to reform state-owned enterprises and improve institutional efficiency.
