4 prisoners dealing with trial in rape and POCSO Act instances escaped from a district jail in Chhattisgarh’s Korba district on Saturday, a police official mentioned.
The inmates, aged between 19-26 years, fled the Chhattisgarh district jail after climbing a cowshed wall contained in the jail. Efforts are at the moment underway to nab them.

The 4 prisoners have been recognized as Dashrath Sidar (19), Chandrashekhar Rathia (20), Raja Kanwar (22) and Sarna Sinku (26).
“Between 3pm and 4pm, they fled after climbing a cowshed wall contained in the jail utilizing a rope. They have been undertrials in instances filed for rape and provisions of Safety of Kids from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Rathia was from Raigarh, whereas the opposite three are from Korba,” mentioned an official, reported PTI.
Efforts are on to nab them, whereas a probe has begun on how they managed to flee, added the official.
